Next, you will visit the historic National Martyrs’ Memorial to pay homage to the country’s history. After enjoying an authentic Bengali lunch, you will visit the famous metalworking center of Dhamrai, where skilled craftsmen create intricately designed figurines and household items using ancient methods such as lost-wax casting. Returning to Dhaka in the evening, you will travel east towards Narayanganj and Rupganj. The journey will begin at the bustling Bunty Bazaar in Araihajar, where you will see local weaving businesses, colorful yarn markets, and fields filled with freshly dyed cloth. The tour will conclude with a visit to the Rupganj Jamdani village and its nearby market in Noapara, where you can watch skilled weavers weave UNESCO-recognized Dhakai Jamdani sarees on traditional wooden looms and buy authentic hand-woven fabrics directly from artisan families before your final drop-off at the airport.

Day 01 :

Dhaka - Savar

After landing in Dhaka, embark on a day-long tour to Savar, a picturesque rural area just outside Dhaka, to celebrate Bangladesh's rich craft heritage and rural life. Start the morning at the Kakran Pottery Village, where potters have perpetuated their ancient art for generations; explore the village, talk to local families, and see how traditional pottery survives alongside the daily chores of the village. Next, visit the historic National Martyrs' Memorial in Savar to pay homage to the country's history. Around noon, enjoy an authentic traditional Bengali lunch at a local restaurant, and then head to the historic Dhamrai brass and metal workers' community, located 40 kilometers northwest of Dhaka. Here, families of prominent artisans, like merchants, continue to preserve centuries-old metalworking traditions—including the ancient lost-wax casting method (sire perdu) and clay, sand, spoon and plate casting—and they create everything from intricate Hindu and Buddhist statues to everyday brass household items right before your eyes. Return to your hotel and rest for the night.

Day 02 :

Dhaka - Rupganj

After a leisurely breakfast at the hotel and check out, head to Araihajar in Narayanganj, where you can immerse yourself in the region’s famous textile heritage. Your first destination is the vibrant Bunty Bazaar, a bustling hub famous for its vibrant trade in local looms, colorful yarns, and authentic rural market life. Keep your eyes peeled as you head towards the village grounds, where you’ll see huge colorful sheets of freshly washed and dyed cloth spread across the green fields or hung to dry in the sun on tall bamboo frames. Keep an eye out for local workshops, where workers create beautiful batik and organically dyed fabrics using age-old techniques. Then head to Rupganj Jamdani Palli (BSCIC Jamdani Industrial Area) and wander through the village workshops, where skilled weavers use traditional wooden looms to create the UNESCO-recognized Dhakai Jamdani sarees. End the day by visiting the local Jamdani Bazaars and artisan showrooms in nearby Noapara and Rupganj, where you can see and buy authentic hand-woven sarees, Punjabis and unstitched fabrics at wholesale prices directly from local weaving families. Then, slowly drive back to Dhaka and bid farewell to the airport. This is where our service ends.
