Extend your adventure by visiting the vibrant floating markets of Barisal, where life thrives on the river, creating a colorful, cultural experience unlike any other.

What awaits you

Your journey will begin in the afternoon, when our guide picks you up from your hotel or home and takes you to the busiest waterway in Bangladesh – Sadarghat River Port. Board an overnight passenger ship in a first-class cabin bound for Barisal. Arrive early in the morning and explore the picturesque floating market on a local boat. Next, head to Bagerhat to visit the 60-Domed Mosque, a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Travel to Khulna for an overnight stay. The next morning, embark on a 3-day Sundarbans cruise, discovering the wonders of the world’s largest mangrove forest, before returning to Khulna and returning to Dhaka.

Itinerary

Day 01 :
Dhaka

Your guide will bring you to Sadarghat River Port, where you'll board an overnight passenger ship. Enjoy a scenic cruise to Barisal under the stars.                                                                

Day 02 :
Barishal

Disembark from the ship at 5 am After an early check in to our hotel refresh and breakfast at hotel later take a drive to one of the biggest Pottery villages in the country where you will see people making all different types of pots and statues of different Gods and Goddess. Later visit sees local village to meet the local people for interactions. At evening back to hotel.

Day 03 :
Barisal-Bagerhat- Khulna

Today will be a busy day; we start very early in the morning at around 5 AM, and we drive a 30-minute journey to the river port Bananipara and board a local motorboat for cruising and exploring through the floating market. Here you will see different floating markets of rice, guava, vegetables, rice paddy, and timber, and we will also visit rural villages to meet the people and know their culture and see their daily lifestyle. Then start driving towards Mongla; on the way you will visit Bagerhat to see the 60 domes mosque, which is one of the archeological mosques and a UNESCO World Heritage site. Also visit the Khan Jahan Ali Shrine by driving towards Khulna. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day 04 :
Khulna –Sunderbans

Morning at 5 am transfer to Sundarbans boat. You will have the greatest opportunity to discover the riverine Bangladesh and the wildness of Sundarbans (UNESCO Heritage). Sailing started from Khulna.The cruise starts immediately and will continue to cross the Rupsha River, Balshaur River, Pashur River and enter the depths of the Sundarbans and gradually merge with nature. Sometimes river dolphins will follow you. the boat will start cruising towards the Sundarbans Forest. Arrive Kotka wildlife sanctuary in the afternoon. Upon arrival (if time permits) hiking in the Kotka forest area to see wildlife and forest. Back to the boat in the evening. Overnight on the boat. Please note: All food is included while traveling inside Sundarbans for 3days & 2 nights.

Day 05 :
Sundarbans

Early in the morning we shall offer trip through small creeks and canals by country boat to see the wildlife and feel the forest from very close. After breakfast Jungle walk, walking through the Forest trail to the beach etc will be offered. Bar – B – Q dinner and overnight on the boat

Day 06 :
Morning in the Sundarbans and return to Dhaka

Start your last day with a boat trip on the tranquil canals of Kachikhali, a perfect time to get up close and personal with wildlife and immerse yourself in the peaceful rhythm of the forest.After breakfast, visit the Kachikhali Forest Office area - an open grassland in the heart of the forest, where deer and vibrant birds often gather around a freshwater pond to sustain life in this remote corner of the Sundarbans.After the visit, we will start the cruise towards Khulna, enjoying the scenic views of the mangroves. After arriving in the afternoon, we will return to Dhaka. Upon reaching the city, you will be dropped off at your chosen location - ending your unforgettable journey through the wild beauty of the Sundarbans.
