Itinerary
Morning start drive towards Munshigang, Shirajdhikhan and meet your host family in your village and start with a warm welcome of tea and homemade sweets. Then go on a guided walking tour of the village: earthen roads, mud brick houses, water tanks, children’s games—capture life in simple, timeless moments. Join the women’s kitchen: Learn how to make traditional dishes like panta bhat, dal, bharta, and fresh cooking food.Feast on lunch with the family in an open courtyard style! Experience rural crafts: Help paint pottery, weave bamboo baskets, or churn butter using traditional tools. Ride a village van or tractor to nearby farmland: see rice fields, sugarcane fields, and cattle grazing. Join your guests in making dinner: discuss ingredients and techniques. Home-cooked dinner under the stars—stories, songs, perhaps a local baul or folk performance. Overnight and relax in a simple but comfortable traditional homestay: expect soft jute beds, mosquito nets, earthen lanterns, and delicious night air.
