Itinerary

Day 01 :
Welcome to Dhaka – Traditional Walks and River Life

Meet at the hotel lobby and depart to explore the bustling Kawran Bazaar, local slums and communities along the railway tracks, visit Lalbagh Fort, Dhakeshwari Temple and Armenian Church, take a rickshaw ride through Old Dhaka, sunset boat ride on the Buriganga River at Sadarghat Port. Overnight in Dhaka

Day 02 :
Dhaka to Rajshahi: Silk Trail and Village Weaving

Stop at Tangail to explore Jamdani weaving villages, arrive in Rajshahi and visit a local silk factory, optional boat ride on the Ganges/Padma River at sunset. Overnight in Rajshahi.

Day 03 :
Rajshahi to Khulna: Terracotta Temples and Baul Music

Visit Puthia Temple Complex – the best terracotta wonder of Bengal, go to Kushtia for the Baul Shrine of Lalon Shah, enjoy live Baul spiritual music in a cultural setting. Overnight in Khulna

Day 04 :
Wild Sundarbans Safari – Forest, Dolphins and Village

Early drive to Mongla, go on a boat trip in the Sundarbans, explore the river canals, dolphin spot and fishing village, visit the forest temple and enjoy the mangrove biodiversity, return to Khulna for overnight

Day 05 :
The Lost City of Bagerhat and flight to Chittagong

Visit the Sixty Dome Mosque, Khan Jahan Ali’s Tomb and other monuments of the UNESCO Mosque city, have local lunch in Bagerhat, then transfer to Jessore airport, and connecting flight to Chittagong, transfer to hotel, overnight.

Day 06-07 :
Bandarban Hill Expedition – Tribal Villages, Hiking and River Cruise

Hill Expedition – Tribal Villages, Hiking and River Cruise

• Visit the fish market, then drive to the Bandarban hill region, visit the Marma, Murong, Tripura and Lusai tribal communities, hiking, cultural food, village homestay and enjoy handicrafts, take a scenic boat trip on the Sangu River

• Optional (if access to the mountains is restricted): Rangamati, Kaptai Lake and Tribal Culture Tour

Day 08 :
Shipwrecks and return to Dhaka

Visit the Chittagong Ship breakyards by boat (for outside viewing only), and drive to Dhaka by afternoon. Overnight stay in Dhaka.

Day 09 :
Departure

Transfer to Dhaka International Airport for your onward journey. End of the tour with a hearty farewell from Bangladesh Tours and Adventures.
